Time for my Flag Day experience!

First SSG Weijie, Timothy and Kenneth Loh went to Toa Payoh. WOW. DEAD SIA. All the shops in the market were closed. There was literally only us. So we went towards the MRT station where there finally signs of civilization. But there were already CHIJ girls there camping, then Mayflower appeared. So we were owned there.. cos CHIJ spread out so defensively. So we took the MRT to Ang Mo Kio. We were near AMK Hub, but didn't know it at first. So Weijie went to the library where many rich parents took their kids to read and such. Timothy, Kenneth and I camped around the place. I was at the junction of 2 corners and got a bit of money. I can recall how many schools there were

1. CHIJ
2. Cat High
3. Anderson
4. Mayflower
5. Nanyang
6. AI
7. Xinmin
8. I think there was 1 more corps in full u.

How to collect? Like only 3 in 10 people donated. There was 1 auntie who was damn own: Gave me like 10+ five cent coins. Even her daughter was saying "Umm... mummy??" And the above schools did NOT camp. They did laps of the same old places and it was freaking annoying.

When I met up again with Timothy and Kenneth, Timothy had 20 cents and Kenneth had a fairly ok (considering my amount, his amount was bad) amount of cash. We slacked for about 15 mins and continued. But Timothy and Kenneth went to library too so I solo-ed Central Square.

Later I decided to go to the library since I was completely wasted after standing for so long (See la. Weakest in CT). LOL. Weijie got 4 $2 notes and Kenneth and Timothy got a few. -.-

After I decided to rest, a Sec 4 (Weijie's classmate) came up to Kenneth and I (Timothy left, he said Braddell was super crowded and no one was camping there) and started saying "WTF You're wearing Hwa Chong uniform! Where got people sit down for flag day one!!" I think he was from SLC. K lah. So Kenneth continued collecting at library and I went back to my usual spot. Then after 10 minutes I saw someone called Jonathan Foo. Lol. "Eh. Sec 1 ar?" -.-

I hate collecting money at the heartlands.

The Hwa Chong Institution St. John Ambulance Brigade has had various awards, which recognizes the corps’ ability to train platoons of cadets, who are highly disciplined and well versed in First Aid. Following the motto of ‘For the service of mankind’, we also provide and render first aid coverage during events such as the combined sports meet, MUNs etc. As of 2009, the Hwa Chong Corps is one of the three schools in Singapore to have a record number of 10 consecutive CAA Gold.
