Dear Principal Mr Hon,
I am BT *ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ* Lauw(hp 82889660 *please tell the whole world to spam call u*), father of 1A02. My wife & I have
highlighted the poor training ground *highlighted the poor training ground. like RED GREEN BLUE ORANGE PURPLE?* for Wushu to Mdm Yeo HJ during
parents meeting night.
HCI's Wushu training ground is on uneven tiles, the carpet is very
thin, and the area is wet when raining. Heard that there are
students have *great english* minor injury during training. As Head of CCA put it,
luckily there is no serious injury so far. Does HCI going to wait *great english*
for major accident?
Today afternoon, my son left foot *your son left foot. so is ur son's name Lauw Left Foot?* is injured during Wushu training.
He is treated by Chinese accupunture clinic *Ok. Thanks for the information.* after school and given 2
days *from this I can see that your son has suffered such a traumatising serious injury. My condolences* excuse training to heal the swell & internal bruise *Internal Bruise. I never knew that bruises have a classification of INTERNAL and EXTERNAL*.
As the Inter-school Wushu competition coming soon *great english*, appreciate if you *great english*
could find a proper place for Wushu training. Also, would like to
know if any plan *great english* to improve the training ground for long term.

Appreciate you *Appreciate you. Love you. Hate you. F-ck you.* spend some time looking into this issue.
Best regards,

Dear Teacher-In-Charge Mr Loh,
I am DJ Tan(hp 90213586), father of 07S72. My mistress & I have highlighted the poor training ground for St John to Mr Tan YX during parents meeting night.
HCI's St John training ground is on smooth tiles, there is no carpet, and the area is wet when raining. The training groud is also frequently frequented by JC girls and the likes, I thinks that this prove to be much of a distraction. Heard that there are students have minor injury during training because they were staring blankly at the girls and not concentrating. As CSM of CCA put it, luckily there is no serious injury so far. Does HCI going to wait for major accident?
Today afternoon, my son left foot is injured during St John training. He is treated by Greek medical school after school and given 2 days excuse training to heal the swell & internal bruise.
As the St John Combined Mock competition coming soon, appreciate if you could find a proper place for St John training. Also, would like to know if any plan to improve the training ground for long term.

Appreciate you spend some time looking into this issue.
Best regards,

To add on to Raymond's point,

Don't think the NCOs are blind. We know you're there and you are to take the initiative.

Looking away or acting distracted does not help much.

We're not asking you to greet us (of course you can), but just acknowledge our presence with a simple wave or the utterance of a single syllable "Hi.".

So please. By the way, do NOT salute your NCOs when you bump into them not during training. This is a simply retarded act.

You know who you are.

Acknowledging NCO's presence
Raymond @ 11:52 AM

Lately i realised that the cadets are not acknowledging NCOs' presence in the school. They just walk by and DAO the NCOs. This is definitely inapproprite as NCOs are at least someone u noe and we are supposed to greet someone u dont noe (e.g bus drivers). I hope that the situation will improve as cadets shud be at least wave or jus say hi to ur NCOs and acknowledge their presence wherever u meet them outside trainings.

BE WARNED: THE FOLLOWING BLOGPOST HAS AN OVEREXCESS OF FLUENT SARCASM. NOT FOR THE FAINT-HEARTED
*Adapted from 'Maps-Ms West Carolina speaks up', parody of Miss Teen USA*

WORLDWIDE BROADCAST: GENTLEMANLINESS
Ev@nEyF speaks up!

The issue on gentlemen is big in Hwa Chong. The students of Hwa Chong desperately NEEDS to know what being a gentleman is all about! The education of such(e.g. PCME) don't help!

Hwa Chong is the only school in the world that breeds gentlemen. So everywhere else genrally remains rugged and undeveloped. Everyone else are probably cavemen and beggars like such as. No where else in the world has gentlemen. However, Hwa Chong DOES have gentlemen like 2C13, that's why we're a worldwide institution because everyone in the world wants to be like us!

They don't know how gentlemen look like, or perhaps even what they are. They can't behave that way, because they do not have the education level like such as in Hwa Chong. Because they're not in Hwa Chong, they're outside in the wildnerness. Nobody knows where they are, because they are OUTSIDE of Hwa Chong. And nobody knows what to do with their ungentlemen behaviour, but we're trying to find them, that's why we msut indeed applaud the bravery of 2C13 to spark off this important mission. We can help them, and teach them to be gentlemen through events like Personal Grooming during Sabbatical Weeks and such as. We'll show them what being a gentleman, especially being a gentleman of Hwa Chong is all about, and say,"Please, come to Hwa Chong because we WANT you here. Because we want to teach you how to be a true blue gentleman! And you can help us with its evangelism. We can't find them because we don't know where they are."

I'm awesome because I am a gentleman. And my gentleman attitude is all due to the benevolent teachings of 2C13. And I don't need to know how other rugged cavemen behave, like those from unknown institutions somewhere around Bishan. These people need to know where Hwa Chong is and what being a gentleman is all about, because it's not just one thing, it's everywhere! And hopefully one day, under Mario's strong leadership, there won't be a need for such teachings anymore, because everyone is a gentleman and everyone belongs to Hwa Chong. And I love Hwa Chong it's totally awesome and free. Everyone should come and study here because it's so much more gentleman than anywhere else. And everyone is really smart and handsome, especially my master 2C13.

Just for laughs.

Are Hwa Chong Students not 'Gentlemen' enough? [PART 2!!]
djtansg @ 11:57 PM

Hi teachers and students,

I am Tan Ding Jie from Sec 4L.

This scenario is told with all due respects to all gentlemen.

Recently, I was training the comp team at footdrill at the salt centre and then we rested. Sitting down, I prepared to debrief them.

At that moment, a HCJC girl (J1 this year, APOLLO faculty, of class 08S73, X-country as her CCA and wearing an NY tee) happened to arrive.

She appeared lost and paused at grass patch behind the amphitheatre. I went up to her and we both reached the step/seats at about the same time.

She was looking for a shortcut to the boarding school. I offered to bring her there, albeit WITHOUT the application of hand signals, and she obliged.

Just then, there were two NCOs (PROBABLY Sec 4) sitting down talking to the comp team. They exclaimed between themselves 'Wah!'. (Or something along those lines)

Seeing such actions, I am disappointed. As Hwa Chong students, trained to be gentlemen, these little acts should not be seen as awkward.

Furthermore, the school strongly encourages us to serve the ladies. Hwa Chong even goes to the extent of calling us 'gentlemen', unlike NYGH which still address them as 'girls'.

I always thought that Hwa Chong is a school that is brimming with gentlemen, but today I am duly disappointed.

Here are some suggestions that I think of:

- Start practicing to be a gentleman at home, like waiting on our mothers and sisters before meals.

- We can also practice while in school, like holding the door for our NCOs before they enter our bunks.

- For 'braver' gentlemen, you can walk up the grassy slope leading to the HCIS street soccer courts after a heavy downpour wearing nothing but flip-flops.

As you can see, I do not support PCME lessons as it only touches oursurfaces, not our hearts. So, my suggestions are to strike right into the core of our 'gentlemanliness'.

Just a charge for all of you- Unlock your 'gentlemanliness'. You do not stop being a gentleman just because your friend is standing next to you and may laugh at you.

I hope to see a more 'gentleman' Hwa Chong Institution.

luky-man @ 9:34 PM

It's time for Luk Yean's comments that probably no one will read!

This scenario is told with all due respects to all gentlemen.
Oh. Then this message does not concern me. Goodbye.

At that moment, a Nanyang girl (Sec 3 this year) happened to arrive.
NYGH has different coloured name tags for each level, methinks. Apparently brown is sec3. Lol.

Both of us paused at the entrance as we both reached there at about
the same time.
So "love-story"-ish leh. It's like: "My eyes met yours and yours met mine. I immediately felt our hearts combine..."And other emo-mush.

I ushered her in with my hand signal and she obliged.
I hope it was just a "quick hand raise in the direction of the bus door" and not a "welcome Your Majesty. here let me lend you my jacket to step on so that the dirty bus steps will not dirty your magnificent shoes" sorta thing.

Just then, there were two students (maybe Sec 2 or 3) queuing up
behind me. They exclaimed between themselves 'Wah!'.
Very sarcastic... Maybe they were WAH-ing because the NYGH girl was so chio. Or maybe at least her phone was.

Seeing such actions, I am disappointed. As Hwa Chong students, trained
to be gentlemen, these little acts should not be seen as awkward.
We were trained? I'm so un-enthusiastic. Tsk. Acts like these aren't awkward. Only if you looks really ugly, like myself.

Furthermore, the school strongly encourages us to serve the ladies.
Hwa Chong even goes to the extent of calling us 'gentlemen', unlike
NYGH which still address them as 'girls'.
Got meh? I probably didn't hear. I don't think the NYGH staff are so despising towards their students to call them girls lah. Their probably ladies.

I always thought that Hwa Chong is a school that is brimming with
gentlemen, but today I am duly disappointed.
Really? You must be too UN-attentive in this case. You have been here for 2 years you know.

- Start practicing to be a gentleman at home, like waiting on our
mothers and sisters before meals.
I think my parents would think I am slightly mentally affected to be stoning at the dinner table when I should be doing something more conducive like mugging first aid. =P

- We can also practice while in school, like holding the door for our
teachers before they enter our class.
Congrats! One line that actually makes sense!

- For 'braver' gentlemen, you can allow all girls to board the bus
then you follow, even though you may not find a seat by then.
You mean there's a "Brave, Braver, Bravest, Braverest" ranking for gentleman? That's... kinda contradicting yourself in a way. The last sentence is kinda stupid?

As you can see, I do not support PCME lessons as it only touches our
surfaces, not our hearts. So, my suggestions are to strike right into
the core of our 'gentlemanliness'.
Your suggestion = PCME Lesson = Fail.

Just a charge for all of you- Unlock your 'gentlemanliness'. You do
not stop being a gentleman just because your friend is standing next
to you and may laugh at you.
Conformism still wins. I think.

wad do u think you would have done is some1 did that to you?!
obviously is go up right? did u think she would have obliged?!
ohwells. weird.

Just then, there were two students (maybe Sec 2 or 3) queuing up
behind me. They exclaimed between themselves 'Wah!'
i guess they were trying to find points to learn from you.
yeah i bet that must be it.

Hwa Chong even goes to the extent of calling us 'gentlemen', unlike
NYGH which still address them as 'girls'
mhm. how u know? u got go to nanyang for immersion classes har?

Start practicing to be a gentleman at home, like waiting on our
mothers and sisters before meals.
they probably will think im just guai lan.

yup cool. just my humble opinions =DD! LOL maybe he will start
something new.
i mean like. wad jianler said. if we just stopped in front of her,
she would have understand.
this would have prevented each other from falling into this awkward
situation.
sometimes we would have to prevent the other party from falling
into this kind of weird situation. u may not have felt anything,
but she might have
wads with the gesture? did u really think it was necessary?! yup.
the people were exclaiming because i think they have seen something
EXTRAordinary.

yup.

weisheng!

quotes from his post,
"This scenario is told with all due respects to all gentlemen"
Addressing the crowd of gentlemen? not bad.

"
They exclaimed between themselves 'Wah!'. Seeing such actions, I am disappointed."
He disappointed for wad?

"So, my suggestions are to strike right into the core of our 'gentlemanliness'. Just a charge for all of you- Unlock your 'gentlemanliness'. You are a gentleman and you should be the role model of all Hwa Chong boys.
not niao ar...

to me, is the gesture even unnecessary in the first place?
u jus have to stop there, and the girl will understand that u r letting her go up first.
hence it is totally unnecessary to do it.

he is neither in a formal event,
nor wearing a suit,
he may think he is acting as a 'gentleman',
but or rather he looks like a dumbass to the people.
he even got the guts to pose that 'very gentlemanly' act of his on PSB,
so as to show the whole world how GENTLEMANLY he is? O.O

he should have added this as his suggestion:
propose a Gentlemanly Act Competition.
whenever anyone did a good deed, he stands a chance to win a point!
maybe to cater only to his own needs?

any bets on ding winning this competition?
lol.
i bet 10 RMB. LOL.

Mock comp... again.
Ev@nEyF @ 9:11 PM

Hi cadets,

I was like stunned when I heard that your two ambulance teams lost CPR =.=

A lot of emphasis is placed on CPR everywhere la, be it at HQ on in the society whatsoever, CPR is practical and has high attention. Even for our CPB badges, the only two medical skills that can earn you badges is Nursing and CPR...

I'll be back soon so the number 3s should try and buck up a bit on their CPR.. Very disappointing can. Like last year I got Best CPR then this year might fly haha.

One tip for all is to observe how it's professionally done. Try hunting for some videos or training stuff when you don't have trainers. Keep practising and aim for perfection so that even if YOU ARE NOT NATURALLY BORN WITH TALENTED KISSABLE LIPS LIKE ME you can still do cpr XD.

Alright guys cya in around 1 week ((:
